THE PLOT:

It is the 23rd century and all life is contained in three massive domes. A massive computer rules this world and there is peace. Except this peace and love comes with a high cost. When you reach a certain age you are order to go to carasel to die and be reborn.

Those who refuse to take the change of rebirth in carasel is hunted down by the Police Force which are called Sandmen and killed in cold blood. One Sandman who has questions about this strange world is ordered by the computer to find and destroy a place rumored to be a Runner hideaway, a place called Sanctuary.

So Logan tricks a girl who he feels knows of this rebellion into helping him and together they learn the horrible truth of his twisted future.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

The classic Logan's Run is perfect just the way it is. I can't imagine how they improve on the perfection that is Logan's Run with the upcoming remake, but I just pray they don't screw it up like other remakes which shall remain nameless. Now to the classic story of Logan's Run, the cast does a great job, the story is wonderful for a God I hope not future. There are some minor character issues which I won't get into. But for the most part, the best villain of the movie is Box, the crazed robot that thinks he has to freeze anything and anyone that he meets to preserve as food. That is one cool monster robot. The effects were assume for the time period and the acting is perfect. So to cut a long review short, I give it 9 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

Again I agree with Zedd on this. The charcter issue is how can these people not use their brains and blindy except what a piece of technology tells them. I mean use your brain for something other then a hat rack, they don't even have hats in that future. 9 STARS as well.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ STORY (The story works, well.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ ACTING (The acting is wonderful.)
+ EFFECTS (The effects are incredible for the time peroid.)
+ BOX (Best villain.)

- BLIND FAITH (Even blind faith has it's limits. People like Frances 7 went past blind faith to complete insanity.)
