THE PLOT:
Chandler Jarrell is a private detective specializing in missing children hired to find a powerful child who has been kidnapped
by forces who will see him dead, Chandler agrees to help even though he doesn't believe in the legend of the Golden Child
or magic.
But Chandler enters a world beyond his wildest dreams of nightmares, a world of magic and of monsters. A world that could
end his life if he's not careful.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Okay, even though this is my favorite Eddie Murphy movie ever it's not perfect. There are some slight annoying factors in
it, his pig pigheadedness about the supernatural for one. But that passes and that's why I give THE GOLDEN CHILD 9 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd on this one, this is a very cool movie that recycle many of the cast from BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA but
that's okay. The story works and the cast works, it's a cool movie that's worth watching. 9 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ COOL CONCEPT (A very cool concept.)
+ ACTING (Great performances.)
+ FUNNY (Very funny.)
+ EXCITING (Rarely slows down.)
+ EFFECTS (Impressive effects.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- MINOR CHARACTER ISSUES (How he keeps denying the supernatural got old.)
...AND FINALLY...
- RECYCLING CAST (A good chunk of the cast comes from BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA)
