Amityville: The Demon
THE PLOT:
A researcher in the supernatural and his family moves into the infamous house in order to prove that there is no such things
as ghost and or demons, that the family from the first movie faked the whole thing just to sell books.
But they soon learn that there is no things then they can imagine, more terrifying and evil which lurks in that house.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
This is the first totally made up story surrounding the Amityville House, and I got to admit it wasn't bad. Even though truth
is stranger then fiction they make a pretty good stab at the strange part. There are minor character issues and the brief
re-love affair with 3-D made them put in a bunch of cheesy 3-D effects in it. But even with that, it's a watchable movie,
8 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I got to admit it's better then the second movie, not as long and drawn out. The story picks up the pace early and rare slows
down, but the 3-D thing did get on my nerves. So, 7 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ ACTION (Rarely slows down.)
+ EFFECTS (The effects are very impressive.)
+ CAST (Keep your eye out for a young Meg Ryan.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- CHARACTERS (Some minor character issues.)
- CHEESY 3-D (What convinced them that bringing 3D back was a good idea?)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on the first two movies, then this isn't for you.)
