THE PLOT:

A salvage crew finds the ship of all ships just floating around in the water. A price for any salvage company, but the crew finds more then a rusted old hulk floating around the ocean, hidden deep within the cargo hold is a treasure trove of gold that they decide not to mention in the manafest to the company.

But for some reason the crew doesn't question why this hulk is still afloat. The reason is the passengers and crew are still on board after they were murdered by an unknown source so many decades before and that same unknown force is making the ghosts go after the salvage crew.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Now even though VIRUS is better then Ghost Ship, it still plenty creepy. The has an intense spooky atmosphere without losing the character development or any of the story. Pretty gruesome deaths scenes that are not for the squeamish of the faint of stomach. But my complaint is that they don't truly explain why? Why this monster is doing what he does? But the effects are great, the atmosphere is great, the story works, there are character issues and plot holes here and there. But for the most part it is a pretty cool movie that I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good ghost story. So all and all, a worth while flick that I would be proud to give 8 STARS to.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

How I couldn't disagree more, sure there are some good things about this movie that I liked. The ghost effects, the atmosphere. But the characters in this movie is a bunch of idoitic morons! Why didn't any of them question the fact the ship was still floating after disappearing so many decades ago? Zedd forgot there was a reason why the man was doing the thing he did. But the sins he's commiting to get out of one sin is idoitic and where was all the bodies? A whole ship full of corpses don't vanish. I'm sorry, but I'm think this movie was just fair, not good. I give it...5 STARS.

+ CREEPY ATMOSPHERE (Plenty of creepy hallways to walk down.)
+ GORE EFFECTS (The gore effects are cool.)
+ GHOST EFFECTS (The ghost effects are cool.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- SENSE (There was several elements that don't make sense.)
- CHARACTERS (Why didn't the characters really think about why the ship is still floating.)

- NOT FOR EVERYONE (If you are faint of stomach or heart,then this isn't the movie movie.)
